IOSH - Working Safely


Introduction
: Suitable for employees at all levels.

The Aims: The course aims to provide employees with knowledge of their responsibilities for health and safety towards themselves, colleagues and others affected by their work activities.

The Objectives: On Completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

  • identify hazards in their workplace
  • assist in preparing risk assessments
  • follow their organisations health and safety policy
  • report accidents and incidents
  • co-operate and communicate on safety matters.

Course Structure: The course is arranged into four modules, which include the following topics

  • working safely
  • hazards
  • safety Performance
  • hazards - specific organisation.

Assessment of the Course: The course is assessed by a written assessment paper and workplace safety assessment. Successful completion of the programme results in the award of an Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Certificate.
