What course do I need?

A. If your company is small, IOSH Managing Safely will give you a strong overview. Larger or more hazardous companies call for the NEBOSH National General Certificate. If your company is very large and the work is hazardous you need to have support from a qualified health and safety practitioner. A. You will need a NEBOSH National General Certificate or the NEBOSH Construction Certificate first. Once you have either of these, you can apply to do the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice.

A. The NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health is ideal, though the IOSH Managing Safely will give you a broad picture of the general construction safety issues.
Q. Our supervisors/junior managers need to understand more about health and safety.
A. IOSH Supervising Safely deals with most of the health and safety legislation that supervisors will face and explains some of the safety and risk management issues too.
Q. None of these apply to me, I need something far more specific and bespoke
