British Safety Council Fire Risk Assessment (Level 2 Award)
Introduction: Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the responsibility for fire risk assessment in any workplace lies with the accountable ‘responsible person'. This British Safety Council Level 2 Award in Fire Risk Assessment course is delivered in one day and provides this ‘responsible person’ with knowledge and understanding of the fire risk assessment process and the skills required to undertake a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment.
Objectives: On completion of the course, delegates will:
- Understand the importance of fire risk assessments
- Understand the principles of controlling the risks from fire
- Understand how a fire risk assessment is undertaken
Assessment: The Level 2 Award in Fire Risk Assessment is assessed by means of an exam. This relates directly to the delegate’s workplace and tests the application of learning in a practical context
