Introduction: Our IOSH Managing Environmental Responsibilities course is a three-day IOSH accredited course delivered from our training centre in Sittingbourne, Kent and is for those with responsibility for managing environmental issues.
The IOSH Managing Environmental Responsibilities Course Structure:
- during the introduction module we look at why it is important to manage environmental responsibilities.
- Water - Land- Air, these are the three areas that man has an impact on. In focusing on these areas you will learn how pollution occurs, what legislation is in place to deter offenders from polluting and how to control pollution events
- control strategies and techniques assist organisations in ensuring that the local environment is protected, which in turn helps to reduce widespread environmental pollution
- the section on environmental management is aimed at improving understanding of environmental management systems, as well as the ISO 14001 standard for Environmental Management
Assessment of the IOSH Managing Environmental Responsibilities Course: There is a multi-choice assessment paper and a project. Successful delegates will be awarded an Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) certificate.
