Introduction: IOSH Working Safely is suitable for employees at all levels and those who work or are about to enter the construction and civil engineering industry and need to obtain a CSCS card.
The Aims: The IOSH Working Safely course is delivered from our offices in Sittingbourne and aims to provide employees with knowledge of their responsibilities for health and safety towards themselves, colleagues and others affected by their work activities.
The Objectives: On Completion of the IOSH Working Safely course, delegates will be able to:
- identify hazards in their workplace
- assist in preparing risk assessments
- follow their organisations health and safety policy
- report accidents and incidents
- co-operate and communicate on safety matters.
IOSH Working Safely Course Structure: The course is arranged into four modules, which include the following topics
- working safely
- safety Performance
- hazards - specific organisation.
Assessment of the IOSH Working Safely Course: The course is assessed from our Sittingbourne offices by a written assessment paper and workplace safety assessment. Successful completion of the programme results in the award of an Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Certificate.
