Sunny days seem to make everyone more optimistic don’t they? It’s hard to work in the heat but at least life is more colourful and enjoyable somehow, especially when we have had the World Cup getting everyone excited. Speaking of a sense of excitement, I am delighted to announce that we are hosting a one-day health and wellbeing Symposium in October. Entitled “Working Well: Your Strategy For A Healthy Business”, this one-day event will demystify employee health and wellbeing in relation to your business. The event itself will feature a keynote speech from Ruby Wax OBE and is being chaired by Sir Bill Callaghan. We are aiming to make the day fun, as well as informative, and it will feature in-depth discussions and practical demonstrations on monitoring and protecting both your employees’ physical health and mental wellbeing. Another bit of excitement this month was that myself and some colleagues recently attended the 2018 NEBOSH Graduation Ceremony. It is such an honour to witness the hard work of so many students paying off. I always say that the NEBOSH Diploma remains the gold standard in health and safety; and seeing the collective looks of achievement of the diplomates’ faces always warms my heart. At The Bradley Group we were proud to have several diplomates of our own collecting their diplomas, and having got to know them all personally during their studies it was wonderful to see them up on the stage so well done to Phil Fuller, Ricky Green and Julia Eley.
If you feel you are ready to take the next step in your career by beginning your journey towards getting the NEBOSH Diploma, our next intake starts in September. Drop us a line and we can discuss it with you in more detail.
